Inspired by our family’s traditions of hearth and home began around the kitchen, Clean Label Gourmet Foods was founded. The challenge was to offer these delicious, clean, preservative-free flavors of the world meals and finishing sauces without compromising freshness, taste, safety, and shelf-life. After much research, we then combined these delicious international recipes with the Maryland Packaging technology & quality standards, allowing us to bring to everyone’s table the same cuisine families enjoyed for generations.

Our Technology

HPP
High-Pressure Processing: A pasteurization method that uses pressure rather than heat to kill microor- ganisms in foods ensuring the food maintains flavor and integrity. HPP destroys Salmonella, E. Coli, Listeria, Vibrio, and Norovirus. HPP extends the shelf life of a product by 45-60 days.

Steam-O-Purge
A proprietary cooking method that allows our product to steam rather than cook in the microwave, keeping the product moist, fresh, and cooked to perfection.

As a food manufacturing company that uses HPP as part of its packaging process, we take our social responsibility seriously. Reducing food waste diminishes human-caused greenhouse emissions, reduces water and energy consumption, lowers our oil consumption, and saves money. CLGF focuses on lessening food waste with the extension of shelf-life using HPP, by using sustainable ingredients and green-friendly packaging when available.
